A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Job Description

We are a dog and cat only veterinary clinic in beautiful Tyler, TX. Shelley Drive Animal Clinic was started more than 50 years ago, and we have an amazing client following willing to do anything for their pets. We currently staff three doctors and we are looking for another veterinarian to fit the needs of our growing client-base. We have the newest technology available including Idexx blood analyzers and urinalysis equipment, Heska digital radiographs, Samsung high quality ultrasound, two surgical suites with anesthesia monitoring equipment, a dental suite with dental radiographs, Avimark practice management software, and more. We are looking for a part-time or full-time associate veterinarian with an opportunity for becoming an owner in the future. Full-time work includes four days a week with one day off and one-half day every third weekend. Benefits will include a salary, health and dental insurance, license fees, continuing education allowance, matching retirement plan, and paid vacation.
