Part-Time Veterinarian (Friday & Saturday) Spay and Neuter of Salt Lake City 4815 S Center St, Murray, UT 84107 Join a mission-driven team dedicated to making high-quality veterinary care accessible and affordable for Utah pet owners. Spay and Neuter of Salt Lake City is seeking a compassionate and efficient Part-Time Veterinarian to join our team on Fridays and Saturdays . This flexible position is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys outpatient medicine, dentistry, and community-focused care . This role is a great fit for a veterinarian seeking supplemental income, work-life balance, or a consistent weekend schedule. Schedule Friday & Saturday 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Occasional flexibility may be needed depending on patient care and dental caseload.) About the Role We are looking for a veterinarian who is comfortable providing care during our busy vaccine clinic, performing medical and post-operative recheck appointments, and providing veterinary oversight for dental procedures performed by our experienced dental technicians. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced, supportive team while helping make quality veterinary care accessible and affordable to the community.
Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:
Overseeing vaccine clinic appointments Evaluating post-operative and medical recheck appointments Providing veterinary oversight for dental procedures performed by our experienced dental technicians, including oral examinations and treatment recommendations Providing humane euthanasia services as needed Delivering client education and treatment recommendations Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records Collaborating with veterinary assistants, technicians, and support staff to provide excellent patient care Equipment & Resources Digital radiography Dental radiography In-house laboratory SignalPET radiology support Established anesthesia and pain management protocols Scribble Vet AI-assisted medical documentation Qualifications DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school Current Utah Veterinary License (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with dentistry and/or outpatient medicine preferred Compensation Competitive compensation, negotiable based on experience and role responsibilities.
