Relief / PRN with ongoing weekly opportunity The Opportunity A well-established, independently owned small animal general practice in Richmond's West End is seeking a relief DVM for immediate coverage and an ongoing weekly relief relationship. This is a long-standing hospital with a stable support team, a loyal client base, and a collaborative culture that treats relief doctors as part of the team rather than a temporary fill. Immediate Coverage Needed Wednesday, July 29 Monday, August 24 Wednesday, August 26 Thursday, August 27 Friday, August 28 Shift hours are 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Ongoing Need The practice is also looking for a consistent relief provider to cover one weekday per week on a recurring basis, with the possibility of adding a four hour Saturday block focused on routine surgery. Caseload 100 percent small animal. A typical day includes wellness and preventive care visits, sick patient exams, and routine general practice surgery such as small mass removals, spays and neuters, and dental procedures. The hospital is fully equipped with in-house diagnostics, digital imaging, and a trained surgical support staff.
