A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Full time benefits are offered at 12 days per 4-week rotation and include medical, 3 weeks paid time off plus paid holidays, CE allowance and paid CE days, life insurance, generous pet care, employee assistance program, and a retirement plan with company match. Compensation is based on production and the number of shifts worked; however, a base salary will be offered for the first year. Established FT associates are earning $140,000- $180,000.
