Job Description Position Summary:
Provides primary veterinary care and case management within the Surgical Oncology unit. The integrated oncology service at Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital offers the latest and most advanced diagnostics and treatments in surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, andclinical trials to a bustling client and referral base. This position will support clinical and didactic teaching in the DVM program, fellow training and mentorship in surgical oncology, graduate student/resident training. Develops knowledge and skills of DVM students, interns, residents, technicians and CE participants by providing clinical instruction in the principles and practice of veterinary triage skills and urgent care medicine. Presents staff training by illustrating new or reviewed specialty topics/techniques. Provides coaching and feedback. Full Consideration Date:

Clinical:
Provide clinical instruction in surgical oncology to clinical fellows, residents, veterinary students, and other students at the Veterinary TeachingHospital. Didactic:
Provide laboratory instruction on topics related to surgical oncology. Conditions of Employment:

Position will supervise the clinical service, consisting of residents, house officers, and students. Minimum Qualifications:
DVM Ability to obtain a Colorado Veterinary License An Academic Veterinary License from CO DORA will be required to practice in this role. Preferred Qualifications:
