Progressive small-animal general practice in an AAHA-accredited, full-service hospital offering comprehensive wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, dentistry, in-house diagnostics, digital radiology, ultrasound, routine and advanced surgery, orthopedic surgery, laser therapy, senior medicine, pain management, and more. The hospital primarily serves dogs and cats while also offering the opportunity for exposure to pocket pets for veterinarians interested in expanding their experience beyond traditional companion-animal medicine. You'll have the opportunity to learn alongside experienced veterinarians, gain exposure to a diverse caseload, build confidence in appointments and case management, and progressively strengthen your skills in areas like surgery and dentistry while having support around you. Our structured, one-year New Graduate Mentorship Program is designed to help make the transition from veterinary school to clinical practice feel intentional rather than overwhelming. You'll be paired with a dedicated Clinical Mentor whose schedule intentionally overlaps with yours, providing consistent access to guidance as you build confidence and independence. Throughout the year, you'll also participate in regular mentor meetings, goal-setting workshops, and soft-skill coaching focused on client communication and professional development. Before entering practice, you'll have opportunities to strengthen your hands-on skills through our 5-day Surgical Mentorship Program , offered year-round in a small-group environment where participants typically complete approximately 20-40 surgeries with individualized instruction. New graduates also have access to a 2-day Dental Wet Lab at our Flower Mound Dental Training Facility, led by our own veterinary dental specialist and focused on building a strong foundation in everyday dentistry. Experienced veterinarians are absolutely encouraged to apply, too.
