Central Animal Hospital in Onalaska, WI is a well-established, AAHA-accredited small animal practice with deep roots in our community. We're not a corporate group. Decisions here are made by veterinarians who practice here — including a former President of the AVMA and former Presidents of the WVMA. Your Mentors Are Former AVMA and WVMA Presidents Dr. Douglas Kratt served as AVMA President in 2020 and has also served as President of the WVMA. Dr. Kimberly Kratt is a former President of the WVMA and an instructor in ultrasonography. Together, they built Central Animal Hospital and are looking for the right person to grow alongside them — and eventually into ownership. Whether you're a new graduate looking for real mentorship or an experienced DVM ready to bring fresh ideas, you'll have direct, day-to-day access to two engaged mentors in the profession. That includes hands-on training in ultrasonography from someone who teaches it — not just uses it.
