SoundWorks Hearing Centers , a respected and established network of hearing care providers across the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and East Texas areas, is looking for a compassionate and skilled Hearing Instrument Specialist to join their growing team. Position Overview:
This Hearing Instrument Specialist position will serve patients in Athens and Corsicana area. With marketing and administrative tasks fully supported by SoundWorks, this role enables the specialist to focus entirely on helping patients improve their hearing and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct hearing evaluations and assessments to determine each patient's specific hearing needs. Fit, program, and maintain hearing devices using advanced technology to ensure optimal performance. Provide ongoing support and follow-up care, including troubleshooting, reprogramming, and adjustments. Educate patients on hearing health and the benefits of personalized hearing solutions. Stay updated on new hearing technology and best practices, incorporating the latest advancements into patient care. Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment, making patients feel comfortable and valued.
Requirements:
Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist in Texas (or eligibility to obtain). Proven experience in hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, and patient care. Strong communication skills, with a patient-first approach and ability to build patients' trust. Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in delivering personalized, impactful hearing care.
