Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team and drive excellence in maintaining and repairing HVAC systems across various properties. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and safety. Your mechanical expertise and field service experience will be vital in delivering top-tier property maintenance solutions that keep our clients comfortable year-round. Duties Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems in commercial and residential settings. Read schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs efficiently. Perform routine inspections of HVAC equipment such as boilers, chillers, ammonia refrigeration units, and air conditioning systems to ensure proper operation. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems including pipe fitting and leak repairs. Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for component repairs or modifications. Maintain detailed service records, work logs, and reports documenting all activities performed. Support property maintenance tasks including appliance repair, equipment replacement, and preventative upkeep to maximize system longevity. Experience Proven field service experience with HVAC systems or related mechanical equipment. Knowledge of construction practices related to HVAC installation projects. Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration units is highly desirable. Familiarity with schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and HVAC design principles. Mechanical knowledge encompassing boiler operation, plumbing systems, welding techniques, and appliance repair. Experience operating tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments for troubleshooting electrical components. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for transportation between job sites. $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
