Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician, where you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing essential climate control systems across diverse property types. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical expertise, troubleshoot complex HVAC systems, and deliver exceptional service that keeps environments comfortable and operational. Your technical skills and proactive approach will ensure optimal performance of heating, cooling, refrigeration, and ventilation equipment, contributing directly to property maintenance excellence. Duties Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and ventilation equipment. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately. Conduct routine inspections of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate. Troubleshoot electrical components using tools such as ohmmeters and perform mechanical repairs involving welding and equipment replacement. Maintain detailed service records, work logs, and reports for all maintenance activities performed. Assist with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems and property water supply needs. Support field service operations by responding promptly to service calls and ensuring timely resolution of issues. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC, refrigeration, or property maintenance roles with a strong mechanical background. Knowledge of construction standards related to HVAC installation and repair processes. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately; familiarity with HVAC design principles is a plus. Hands-on experience with appliance repair, boiler operation, ammonia refrigeration systems, and HVAC/R equipment. Mechanical knowledge including welding skills and the use of specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating a driver vehicle preferred. Strong field service skills with the ability to work independently in diverse environments. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive attitude towards maintenance and repairs.
