This role involves installing and troubleshooting HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, construction experience, and the ability to interpret schematics and HVAC design plans. A valid driver's license is required. Responsibilities Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units,, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems in accordance with manufacture installation instructions and customers desired outcome.. Troubleshoot system issues that may arise during start up. Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals to accurately install systems. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems like drains and gas piping installations. Brazing refrigerant lines. Ensure all installations comply with local codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations. Maintain detailed pictures, records and report on work performed. Experience Proven experience as an installing technician in HVAC/R or related mechanical fields. Construction background with knowledge of new construction or remodel operations and how it fits into the HVAC scope of work. Experience working with schematics, HVAC design plans, and electrical wiring diagrams. Mechanical experience with equipment repair, welding, or mechanic work is highly desirable. Field service experience involving air conditioning installation or maintenance is a plus. Knowledge of plumbing related to HVAC systems is beneficial. Candidates should demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments. An understanding of smart thermostats and wireless devices is a plus. Starting Pay dependent on Experience and perceived capability.
