Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic (In House/Mobile)

We are searching for a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic.

Responsibilities:

Diagnosing operational problems and making repairs to correct them. The mechanic must also complete all fleet maintenance processes on trucks and trailers. Mobile Repairs/Service Calls as needed. Repair and replace damaged or worn parts on equipment. Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications. Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment. Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using engine diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devices.

Educational and Other Requirements:

High school education or equivalent. Military Background with Heavy Duty Equipment preferred but not required. Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must possess the ability to work independently and as a member of a team. DOT inspection knowledge and Air Brake Certification (preferred) Welding experience. Computer skills Fleet maintenance experience
