Job Description

¨ Experience preferred. JOB DESCRIPTION
: Heavy Duty Parts Sales A Heavy Duty Parts Sales professional manages the sales, identification, and sourcing of commercial vehicle parts (trucks/trailers/tractors) to repair shops, fleets, and over-the-counter customers. Responsibilities include building client relationships, providing expert technical product knowledge, managing inventory, and processing orders.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales:
Assist customers in locating required parts via phone, email, or in-person, including upselling and recommending complementary products.
Technical Expertise:
Utilize knowledge of heavy-duty truck/tractor/trailer components to identify, source, and recommend parts.
Order Processing:
Generate sales orders, process payments, and manage special orders from vendors.
Inventory Management:
Stock, organize, and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring efficient retrieval.
Relationship Building:
Develop relationships with local repair shops, fleet managers, and technicians.
Logistics & Returns:
Coordinate with suppliers for timely part delivery and manage warranty claims.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
1+ years in heavy-duty truck or automotive parts sales.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of heavy-duty truck systems, engines, and aftermarket parts.
Skills:
Proficiency in computer inventory systems (e.g., MS Office) and point-of-sale systems.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication for customer interaction.
Physical:
Ability to lift heavy parts and work in a warehouse/retail environment.
