Job Description
Fabel Repair & Collision Center is looking for a Heavy Duty Truck Parts Specialist to join our Waupaca team. This role is key to keeping our technicians moving and trucks back on the road. If you know your way around heavy-duty truck components—or you're motivated to learn fast in a busy diesel shop—we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Answer phones and assist technicians and customers with heavy-duty truck parts inquiries Identify, source, and order parts for Class 6-8 trucks, trailers, and diesel equipment Use our parts and inventory systems to look up, track, and process parts orders Work closely with service advisors and technicians to ensure accurate and timely parts delivery Receive shipments, verify orders, and stock incoming heavy-duty truck parts Maintain accurate inventory using the computerized inventory system Monitor cores, warranties, and vendor returns Keep the parts room, shelves, and shipping/receiving area organized and efficient Assist with parts research when uncommon or specialty components are needed Support shop operations to keep repairs moving and minimize downtime Perform additional duties as needed to support the team What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license Experience in heavy-duty truck parts, diesel repair parts, or truck dealership parts departments preferred 2-3 years of experience in parts, inventory, warehouse, or supply roles (truck or automotive industry is a plus) Knowledge of diesel engine components, truck systems, and aftermarket/OEM parts Strong organizational and inventory management skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced shop environment Basic math skills and attention to detail Comfortable using parts lookup software and inventory systems Team player who communicates well with technicians and staff Bonus If You Have Experience with heavy truck brands like Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, International, Volvo, Mack, or Cummins components Diesel shop or fleet maintenance background Parts sourcing or vendor relations experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and completing work with a sense of urgency Some combination of climbing and balancing to include climbing ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling May involve the lifting or carrying heavy objects and materials (20-50 pounds)HIGHLIGHTS 8
