Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Bradford Forest LLC, a leading hardwood lumber and dimension parts manufacturing company situated in the rolling hills of Northwestern Pennsylvania, is looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for our Bradford, Pennsylvania location. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic plays a critical role in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment including forklifts and log yard equipment to ensure that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years' experience in diesel mechanics required with an industrial environment preferred. Certification in diesel mechanics or a related field is preferred. Must having working knowledge of forklifts, front end loaders and log yard equipment. Must have excellent mechanical aptitude and abilities with good analytical and methodical problem solving, troubleshooting and decision-making skills. Must be able to meet the physical requirements including walking, bending, crawling, reaching, stooping, twisting and lifting over 30 lbs. Must be able to withstand a production environment with exposure to dust, fumes and varying high/low temperatures. Ability to multi-task, organize multiple assignments and establish priorities Must be able to work in a team environment. Job Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, inspections and service. Diagnose potential problems and determine required repairs. Repair and maintain heavy equipment including forklifts, front end loaders and log yard equipment. Collaborate with machine operators to ensure timely and effective repairs. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work. Pay & Benefits Competitive hourly starting pay, commensurate with experience.

Full-time position with overtime hours:
