Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Technician

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role (opportunities to travel) as a Mechanic/Technician at LAG Equipment located in Trafford, PA. We offer full healthcare benefits, 401K, paid holidays/vacation, etc. Qualifications Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of machinery: electrical & hydraulic preferred Experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repairs Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skill Experience in the refractory industry is a plus

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a mechanic
• Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program is a plus
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Ability to use diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
