LEE CONSTRUCTION, INC.
Glenwood, Iowa Heavy Equipment Operator Lee Construction, Inc., a family owned, managed excavating and heavy hauling contractor is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator .
General Summary:
This position is responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe manner. Duties include excavating, hauling, grading and moving dirt, sand, gravel, debris and any/all earth materials.
Primary Responsibilities:
Operate one or several types of heavy construction equipment such as; dozer, excavator, motor grader, scraper, farm tractor and duel scrapers, to excavate, move and grade earth at various construction sites. Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers. Perform routine equipment maintenance, as required. Probable exposure to harsh, inclement weather including hot and/cold climates. Safety Awareness General work week, Monday through Saturday, 7am to 5pm. Hours may vary depending on assignment/project. (No overnight travel required). Location sites include Glenwood, IA and surrounding areas. Lifting up to 50 pounds as needed. Various other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, and Experience:
FIVE OR MORE
years of experience preferred operating dozer, excavator, motor grader, scraper and/or farm equipment. Wages are determined upon years of experience and job performance Experience with GPS required. Class A CDL preferred, but not required.
