• Job Description
• This position involves operating heavy machinery including skid steers, dozers, and excavators across various locations such as Columbus, Grove City, New Albany, Hilliard, Lancaster, and Jeffersonville.

The role focuses on site grading, putting in utilities underground, digging/trenching, backfilling, and compacting trenches on projects related to data centers, multi-family units, healthcare, and business centers.

• Responsibilities
• + Operate skid steer, dozer, and excavator efficiently. + Perform site grading and underground utility installation. + Conduct digging, trenching, backfilling, and compacting operations. + Ensure proper machine maintenance and safety standards are met. + Work on commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Essential Skills
• + 3+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction. + Proficiency in operating excavators, dozers, and skid steers. + Strong understanding of civil construction and site grading.
• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Experience with backhoes, loaders, front end loaders, and track hoes.

• Work Environment
• Work is conducted outdoors with standard hours starting at 7 AM, Monday to Friday, with the potential for some Saturday work. Typical work weeks are 40 hours, with the possibility of extending to 48-50 hours depending on project demands.

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, OH.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
