Heavy Equipment Operator

Summary:

Abbeville Fiber is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator at their Abbeville location. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Essential Duties:

Load and unload products and materials using heavy tired equipment (specifically a front-end loader) Unload log trucks Monitor machines to ensure the continued movement of lumber and materials through the plant Operate equipment that feeds lumber and materials through the sawmill Perform clean-up duties daily around machines Weekend work is possible Other duties as assigned
