Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment to perform tasks such as digging, building, and lifting. Your expertise in operating farm machinery, roll off trucks, front loader trucks, dump trucks, backhoes, cranes, and tankers will be essential in ensuring the successful completion of various projects.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain a range of heavy equipment including farm machinery, roll off trucks, front loader trucks, dump trucks, backhoes, cranes, and tankers
• Perform tasks such as digging trenches, moving materials, loading and unloading equipment or materials
• Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Follow project plans and specifications to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as farm machinery, roll off trucks, front loader trucks, dump trucks, backhoes, cranes, and tankers
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate equipment safely and effectively
• Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
