Heavy Equipment Operator

Primary Role:

• Safely maintain and operator haul truck on-site
• Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
• Assist with maintenance on various pieces of mobile equipment as well as plants.
• Willingness to learn excavator, loader and dozer Responsibilities Operate off road haul truck and with training learn equipment, such as excavator, loader, dozer and man lift.

Inspection and maintenance of equipment to ensure safe operation and maintain good working order per Merrick Sand & Gravel / MSHA guidelines. Perform basic maintenance tasks on mobile equipment and plants. Requirements Positive attitude and willingness to grow and learn Team Mindset Adhere to Merrick Sand & Gravel / MSHA operating and safety guidelines. Focus on Safety, Quality, and Accuracy. Must have working knowledge of hazard and safety precautions Must be able to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions
