Tripp's Construction is seeking a highly experienced Heavy Equipment Operator specializing in land clearing operations. This position requires proficiency operating dozers with root rakes and excavators for large-scale residential, commercial, and right-of-way clearing projects. We are looking for operators who understand production-driven clearing, not just machine operation—someone who can efficiently grub, pile, and manage debris while maintaining clean, organized job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate dozers (with root rake attachments) and excavators for land clearing Perform grubbing, piling, and site prep for development projects Efficiently separate and handle stumps, roots, and debris Maintain clean burn piles and understand proper stacking techniques Work with crews to meet daily production goals Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance Follow all safety procedures and company standards

Qualifications:

3+ years experience in land clearing (preferred) Proven experience with dozer Excavator experience Ability to read terrain and work efficiently in varying ground conditions Strong work ethic and reliability—this is a production environment Valid driver's license
