  • 2P-12A (M-F) 12P-6P(SAT) Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Equipment Operator/Maintenance specialist and become a vital part of our construction and infrastructure projects!
In this energetic role, you'll operate a variety of heavy machinery, perform essential maintenance tasks, and ensure the smooth and safe operation of equipment on-site. Your expertise will directly contribute to the successful completion of construction projects, helping to build the foundations for communities and infrastructure. We're looking for motivated individuals who thrive in active environments, possess strong mechanical skills, and are eager to take on diverse responsibilities with enthusiasm. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, water trucks, to execute quarry tasks efficiently and safely. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Assist with site preparation, grading, paving, and other construction activities by skillfully handling various equipment. Support quarry site operations by setting up equipment, managing material movement, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams. Follow all safety procedures diligently while operating machinery or performing maintenance tasks to maintain a secure work environment. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on heavy equipment. Proven experience operating construction machinery such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, horizontal drills, tankers, and paving equipment. Hands-on experience working on quarry sites with familiarity in site preparation and grading activities. Ability to work safely in physically demanding environments while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.
