Heavy Equipment Operators Needed

We're working with a well-established civil contractor with a strong pipeline of work across Nebraska. They are looking to add experienced heavy equipment operators to their team. Position overview Operate heavy equipment on civil construction projects including site development, roadwork, and utility installation Projects located throughout Nebraska with consistent hours and overtime opportunities Responsibilities Operate excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, and rollers Perform rough and fine grading, trenching, and backfilling Assist with underground utility installation (water, sewer, storm) Read and interpret grade stakes, blueprints, and site plans Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Work closely with field crews and supervisors to maintain schedules Follow all safety guidelines and jobsite procedures Qualifications 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in civil construction Experience with sitework, excavation, or underground utilities preferred Ability to read grade stakes and work to elevations Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices Willingness to travel within Nebraska as needed Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus Compensation and benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Per diem or travel pay for out-of-town work when applicable
