Heavy Equipment Operator/Truck Driver

True North Excavating is a small family owned business located in Manti Utah. ```Job Summary``` We are seeking a very experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment to complete construction projects. This is a full-time position with competitive pay, based on experience. ```Responsibilities```

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, water trucks, compacters, loaders, and more
• Safely and efficiently perform tasks such as digging, grading, loading, and moving materials
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget ```Requirements```
• Previous experience in residential heavy equipment operation, including laying pipe.
• Experience with dump truck driving, especially with transporting sand and gravel and moving equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of equipment maintenance
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment with the latest technology.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
