to be considered for this role, we require at least 3-5 years of RECENT experience in a heavy equipment sales role with rental experience, OR in a rental sales role with heavy construction equipment sales. We are seeking an energetic and motivated Heavy Equipment Rental Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind expanding our rental equipment customer base, providing exceptional service, and ensuring client satisfaction. Your enthusiasm for sales combined with your technical knowledge of heavy equipment will help us deliver top-tier solutions to construction companies, contractors, and industrial clients. Responsibilities Develop new business opportunities through proactive outside sales efforts, including cold calling, networking, and client visits. Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers by understanding their equipment needs and offering tailored rental solutions. Conduct product demonstrations and explain rental terms clearly to clients, ensuring they understand the benefits of our equipment offerings. Manage inventory levels efficiently by coordinating with warehouse staff to track equipment availability and maintenance schedules. Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and excellent communication skills. Prepare sales proposals, quotes, and contracts accurately using Microsoft Word and Excel. Assist with inventory control by monitoring rental equipment status and coordinating maintenance or repairs as needed. Skills Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales with a focus on heavy equipment or rental equip Strong organizational skills with experience in inventory management and inventory control systems. Excellent public speaking and customer service skills to confidently present products and negotiate deals. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, data entry, and basic marketing tools to support sales activities. Effective phone etiquette combined with outstanding communication skills for engaging clients professionally. Administrative experience related to sales management, front desk operations, or retail math calculations is a plus. Knowledge of maintenance procedures for heavy equipment is advantageous to better assist clients' technical questions.

Pay:

$50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
