Job Description
$45,000 base + strong commission $120,000+ first-year potential Statewide Equipment is southern Utah's authorized dealer for LiuGong, Kioti, Dynapac, and Topcon. We sell and service heavy equipment to contractors, farmers, municipalities, and rental yards across the region—and we're growing. We're hiring a Field Sales Representative who wants to build a real book of business and earn real money doing it. This is not a desk job. If you'd rather be in the truck than behind a screen, keep reading. About the Role You will own a sales territory and spend your days in the field—on jobsites, in equipment yards, at farms and ranches, and inside contractor offices—meeting prospects, qualifying needs, and closing deals on machines ranging from compact tractors to wheel loaders, telehandlers, and beyond. You'll build your own pipeline, manage every lead in our CRM, and report directly to the General Manager. We will give you the brands, the inventory, the support team, and the training. You bring the drive. What You'll Do Prospect every day—cold calls, jobsite drop-ins, networking events, referrals, and follow-up on inbound leads Build and manage a healthy, organized pipeline in our CRM with accurate notes, next steps, and forecasted close dates Run on-site product demonstrations and walk customers through machine selection, financing, and trade-in options Quote, negotiate, and close deals on new and used equipment Coordinate with parts, service, and finance to deliver a smooth purchase and a great post-sale experience Hit and exceed monthly and annual sales targets Stay sharp on product knowledge, competitive offerings, and what's happening in your territory What We're Looking For Drive, ambition, and a winning mindset. This is non-negotiable. We want someone who keeps score and plays to win. A track record of hitting goals—whether in sales, athletics, the trades, or anywhere competitive Comfortable with cold outreach and face-to-face selling; you don't wait for the phone to ring Organized and disciplined—you can run a CRM, follow up on time, and never let a lead slip Strong communication skills, both in person and in writing Heavy equipment, agricultural, construction, or rental industry experience strongly preferred Valid driver's license and clean driving record Willingness to travel throughout southern Utah and surrounding areas; High school diploma or equivalent required Compensation & Benefits $45,000 base salary paid on a regular two-week pay cycle Strong commission on every unit sold $120,000+ realistic first-year earnings for a rep who works the territory; top performers earn substantially more Phone & truck provided Long-term opportunity inside a growing dealership with multiple OEM lines Why Statewide Equipment We're a working dealership, not a corporate machine. Decisions get made fast. Good ideas get heard. Hard work gets noticed and gets paid. You'll have a direct line to ownership and a real seat at the table as we grow. If you're tired of capped commissions, micromanagement, or waiting in line for a territory—this is the move.
