HEAVY HAUL TRUCK DRIVER

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Haul Truck Driver and take charge of transporting oversized, specialized loads across diverse routes! This energetic role offers the opportunity to operate a variety of heavy-duty trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. You'll be the backbone of our logistics operations, ensuring freight is delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. Duties Safely operate heavy-duty trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to transport freight across designated routes Load and unload cargo with precision using forklifts or other equipment when necessary Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery schedules while adhering to all safety regulations Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation laws Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight details, and delivery documentation Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or any issues encountered during transit Skills Proven experience in truck driving, including commercial driving and route driving with heavy loads Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks and various heavy equipment such as forklifts and dump trucks Ability to load & unload freight efficiently while ensuring safety standards are met Familiarity with load securing techniques specific to heavy haul operations Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols for tractor-trailers and specialized trucks Excellent driving record with experience in delivering freight reliably over long distances We value energetic professionals committed to excellence in heavy haul trucking.
