Job Summary We are looking for motivated Apprentice Helpers to assist electricians and skilled trades personnel on commercial and industrial construction projects. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals interested in learning the electrical trade while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced construction environment. Apprentice Helpers will support daily job site operations, maintain clean work areas, transport materials, and assist with basic installation tasks under supervision. Key Responsibilities Assist electricians and apprentices with installation of electrical systems and components Transport tools, materials, and equipment throughout the job site Pull wire, organize materials, and assist with conduit installation Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment Follow instructions from supervisors, foremen, and journeymen Support site safety efforts and comply with OSHA and company safety standards Load and unload materials and deliveries Operate basic hand and power tools safely Perform general labor duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous construction experience is a plus but not required Interest in learning the electrical trade Ability to work in physically demanding environments Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Reliable transportation and strong attendance record Skills & Abilities Strong willingness to learn Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow directions and safety procedures Positive attitude and dependable work ethic Basic knowledge of hand tools preferred Work Environment Commercial and industrial construction sites Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions Exposure to noise, dust, and active construction areas PPE required at all times
