Job Description:
The Department of Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) a major Harvard Medical School affiliated teaching hospital, is seeking a full time Community Hematologist/Oncologist, to join the Hematology/Oncology Clinic at the Quincy Ambulatory Center, scheduled to open in 2027. This Quincy site will be a modern ambulatory facility providing comprehensive hematology/oncology care, including infusion services for both cancer and non-cancer indications, with multidisciplinary and cancer-supportive services. There will also be adjacent primary care, urgent care, radiology, laboratory, and medical subspecialty clinics within the building. The Quincy practice will be one of seven BIDMC licensed ambulatory oncology clinics within Beth Israel Lahey Health. The successful candidate will establish a community-based hematology/oncology practice. We anticipate the future ability within the practice for provider disease specialization and focus. This individual will report through Cancer Center Leadership and the SVP, Cancer Center.

Successful applicants will be fully trained and Board certified or eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology and interested in developing a career in general hematology/oncology with a focus on clinical care and education. Pay Range:
$395,000
  • $730,000 The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time.
Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
