Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care services to patients in the facility
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding, including tube feeding if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Assist with medical documentation and maintaining accurate records
• Follow all HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

Experience:

• Previous experience in home care or senior care is preferred
• Knowledge of memory care techniques is a plus
• Familiarity with medical documentation systems and electronic medical records

Skills:

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
