High Reach Forklift Operator

Job Title:

High Reach Operator $20 an hour! Job Description The Forklift Operator is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, loading, and distributing building product materials within and outside the Distribution Center. This role involves operating propane or electric-powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices such as forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, or similar equipment to lift, stack, tier, or move products or materials. Responsibilities Transport materials to and from receiving, storage, and production areas using forklifts or other lifting devices. Organize products by sorting and placing items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to size, type, style, color, or product code. Fulfill customer orders promptly, including pulling orders from stock, placing them on pallets, and transporting them to packing stations, shipping departments, or directly to trucks. Track production by managing customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to achieve daily goals. Maintain records by verifying the accuracy and quality of items received and loaded for delivery. Participate in annual physical inventory and product counts, ensuring accurate labeling or tagging. Essential Skills Experience in operating reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and high reach forklifts. Proficient in order picking, loading, and unloading tasks. Skillful in material handling and maintaining inventory records. Prior experience working in a warehouse environment. Electric pallet jack experience is a plus.

Shifts:

Monday-Friday 1:30 pm-10 pm paying $20 an hour paying $20 an hour Training on 5 am-1:30 pm M-F Sunday-Thursday 8:00 pm-5:30 am paying $20 an hour Training on 5 am-1:30 pm M-F Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manchester, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
