Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Qualifications and Experience:
Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is a must-have Experience working in educational settings with a variety of age groups (early childhood through high school) preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt therapy and strategies to meet individual student needsKey Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students from early childhood through high school Conduct assessments to determine students' abilities and needs, writing impactful IEP goals and progress reports Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success Offer guidance on communication strategies and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere Document services, progress, and outcomes in accordance with school and state guidelines Take part in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued team member Maintain compliance with state and federal regulatory standards In this role, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful difference for students while enjoying the flexibility that contract work provides.
