Schedule/Hours:
Travel position—specific shifts may vary, offering flexibility to enjoy your downtime and explore the regionResponsibilities:
Deliver intensive respiratory care and patient transport services as prescribed Evaluate patients, recommend treatment plans, and clearly communicate procedures to patients and families Educate patients on respiratory therapies and equipment upon discharge Administer physician-prescribed treatments using a variety of ventilatory devices (invasive and non-invasive) Perform chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, capnography, and pulmonary function studies Provide tracheostomy care (insertion/removal), arterial punctures, and manage chest drainage devices Assist in advanced procedures (bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, endotracheal tube insertion) Maintain equipment, ensure accurate records, and report on patient response and test results Collaborate with physicians and participate in effective shift-to-shift communication Uphold protocols in labs, participate in quality control, and respond promptly in emergencies (CPR/BLS/ACLS)Desired Qualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist with active license Previous experience in critical care or rehab settings strongly preferred Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Proven proficiency in operating ventilators and respiratory therapy equipment Strong communication skills and dedication to patient-centered careExceptional Travel Perks & Benefits:
