Aug 1, 2026 Job Description The Richland R-IV School District is seeking a dynamic and dedicated High School Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating students in the sciences and the ability to create engaging, lessons that foster curiosity and critical thinking. This position may include teaching courses such as Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, and/or Environmental Science.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Missouri Learning Standards Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment Use a variety of instructional strategies and assessments to meet the needs of diverse learners Integrate technology to enhance student learning Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Participate in professional development and school improvement initiatives Maintain accurate student records and grades

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field Valid Missouri teaching certification in Science (9-12) Strong classroom management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with project-based learning and/or STEM initiatives preferred
