Instruction:
Create and teach lesson plans aligned with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).
Assessment:
Conduct ongoing assessments to track student learning and adjust teaching strategies.
Classroom Management:
Maintain a safe, positive, and productive learning environment.
Collaboration:
Work with special education staff on IEPs and collaborate with department members.
Student Support:
Offer tutoring and help students improve study methods. Required Qualifications
Certification:
Valid Texas teaching certificate for Social Studies Composite (Grades 7-12 or 8-12).
Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
