Aug 3, 2026 Job Description Instructional Strategies Design and implement daily lesson plans that meet district curriculum guidelines and Texas Education Agency (TEA) mandates. Provide accommodations for individual learning styles and work directly with Special Education staff to fulfill Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Assess student achievement through formal testing and informal evaluations, helping students refine study habits. Classroom Management & Organization Cultivate a safe and positive classroom environment that fosters both academic and emotional growth. Enforce the campus Student Code of Conduct and maintain structured routines. Ensure reasonable precautions are taken to protect students, equipment, and facilities. Communication & Collaboration Build professional, open relationships with parents, administration, and the community. Participate regularly in faculty meetings, staff development, and Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Certification:
A valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate subject/grade-level endorsements (some districts may allow waivers through District of Innovation plans).
