High School Teacher

Woodhaven Recovery is a residential program for adolescent males that combines recovery support, academics, family involvement, and daily structure, helping students regain stability, continue making academic progress, and begin planning for next steps. Located in Factoryville, Pennsylvania, Woodhaven Recovery provides a structured setting where students are supported academically while also building the skills, confidence, and stability needed for long-term success. We are seeking a dedicated high school teacher to work with students in a small, structured educational setting within our residential program. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who values meaningful work, flexibility, collaboration, and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of adolescents. This position includes lesson planning, teaching, supporting students' academic progress and ongoing educational growth, and maintaining a calm and consistent learning environment. The role also includes assisting with career and college planning as students begin to think about next steps and future goals. Responsibilities Plan and deliver instruction in a small, structured educational setting Support students' academic progress and individual educational goals Adapt instruction to student needs and strengths Maintain a calm, consistent, and supportive learning environment Assist with career and college planning Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members Help students continue moving forward academically and personally Qualifications Valid teaching certification required Experienced teacher Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
