Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated High Voltage Electrician to join our dynamic team. This vital role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting high voltage electrical systems across various industrial. As a High Voltage Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of electrical infrastructure, supporting renovation projects, construction sites, and ongoing operational needs. Your expertise will help keep our facilities running smoothly while adhering to strict safety standards and electrical codes. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair high voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations and repairs. Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters, power tools, hand tools, and low voltage testers to diagnose issues and perform precise work. Work on construction sites and renovation projects, ensuring all electrical work meets safety regulations and project specifications. Program and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate industrial processes effectively. Collaborate with construction teams, frame carpenters, and handyman personnel to coordinate electrical aspects of building projects. Conduct routine inspections of high voltage systems to prevent failures and ensure ongoing compliance with safety standards. Requirements Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a focus on high voltage systems. Strong knowledge of NEC regulations, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and low voltage wiring. Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with effective communication abilities for teamwork and safety reporting. Previous experience in electrical engineering managing 13.8kV Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills #
IND Pay:
$32.00 - $45.00 per hour
