Highspeed Mail Inserter Operator_1st shift

Position Summary This position will efficiently set up and operate a high-speed inserting machine to produce jobs that meet quality and customer standards, including USPS requirements. Essential Functions Set up the inserting machine according to job specifications. Depending on the type of machine, it may include: o Camera matching system o Inkjet o Gluer o Labeler Follow all quality processes and procedures. Follow all safety protocol. Maintain a consistent workflow and maximize machine efficiency Perform basic machine maintenance as needed, whether routine or unscheduled. Troubleshoot issues, make adjustments when necessary. Willing to accept directives from department supervisor. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Keen attention to details while working at a fast pace. Comfortable in a team environment but able to work independently with little supervision. Mechanical aptitude for basic maintenance and safe operation of the machine. General knowledge of US postal service regulations and mailing processes, including traying and sorting requirements. Willingness to learn new skills and a desire to grow within the department or company. Minimum Qualifications High School education or equivalent Minimum one year of experience running a mailroom machine, such as Flowmaster, Bell & Howell Mailstar, Challenger, Mailcrafters, Videojet, or similar This position offers an opportunity to work in an environment where attention to detail and adherence to quality standards are paramount. $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
