Laboratory Technician:

You will be preparing veterinary tissue samples for diagnosis. Depending on your knowledge and experience you will work on one or several of the following benches: Dissection, embedding, microtomy, and special staining. You will follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) while performing your day-to-day work. What you'll need to succeed: You have 3 or more years' experience working in a histology lab Previous experience with complex tissue dissection is a plus. You possess a Associates, Bachelor's and / or Master's degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. It is not required to work in our lab, but if you are a ASCP licensed HT/HTL, this experience and education would be a plus You have a positive attitude and love to bring that energy into the lab every day to support your colleagues You are looking forward to working in a team You concentrate on the details and can work reliably and precisely You have a great sense of team spirit and responsibility Able to meet the physical requirements that go with working in a lab
