Hours:
40 hrs/week 7AM
  • 4 PM (Monday-Friday)
Rate:
$20
  • $25 per hour ( time and a half after 40 hrs worked per week) (experience dependent)
Jobsite Duties:
Install Grab Bars independently (Tile, Drywall, & Fiberglass applications) Install Wooden (oak/poplar) handrails independently Install aluminum/wooden/vinyl/keylink railings independently with assistant Successfully complete in-house StairLift Installation & Servicing Training program Install & Service Stairlifts independently with an assistant upon training completion Install Aluminum Modular Ramps independently with an assistant Install CleanCut Tub Cut independently upon training completion Provide assistance as needed to Senior Home Access technicians Bathroom Remodel & Renovation Assistant/assistance duties
  • tasks delegated by project manager on site
Supplemental Duties:
  • Organize vans & workshop as needed
  • Complete after install tasks for each completed job
Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of common power hand tools
  • Reliable transportation. Valid RI driver's license. Clean Driver's License
  • Prompt & Reliable. Ability to arrive on time and show up on a consistent basis.
  • Ability to occasionally Lift up to 50 pounds
  • Agreeable to General Background Check
  • Exhibit tact & respect for elderly & disabled population.
Cordial interaction with clients in context of their home.

Facilitating Aging In Place, Fall Prevention, & Increasing Accessibility by being a community resource while collaborating closely with healthcare providers & family members to maximize mobility through minimally invasive equipment.
What We Do:
Oakley Home Access helps people remain in their homes safely as well as return to their homes after injuries and illnesses. We offer a Free Home Safety Assessment provided by an occupational therapist or certified aging in place specialist. We educate our clients, their loved ones, and their healthcare providers about what exactly we can provide for them. We then are able to install any and/or all equipment recommended in a timely manner in order to maximize mobility at home. Benefit Conditions (only full-time employees eligible)
  • PTO:
    1 Week (5 days) every year (5 days sick if needed)
  • 8 Paid holidays per year
  • Hartford Long Term Disability (eligable after 90 days)
  • Life Insurance after 90 days
  • Retirement 3%
  • 4.5% match towards 401K (John Hancock, Simple IRA or 401k plan options available) after 1 year of employment
  • Annual Continuing Education Credits (if needed/wanted)
  • $300 Stipend per month toward health insurance via Healthsource RI after 30 days
