Job Description

H&S Home Services is seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our team as Home Attendants . This role is essential in helping clients maintain independence, dignity, and comfort within their homes. If you're committed to providing high‑quality care and want a stable, weekday schedule, we'd love to meet you. Position Overview As a Home Attendant, you will provide hands‑on support to individuals who need assistance with daily living tasks. You'll work directly in clients' homes, offering personalized care, companionship, and practical help to ensure their safety and well‑being. This is a Monday-Friday, day‑shift position — no nights and no weekends , offering a dependable schedule for those seeking work‑life balance. Key Responsibilities Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Support clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal prep, feeding, and mobility. Maintain a
Safe Environment:
Perform light housekeeping such as sanitizing surfaces, tidying living areas, changing linens, and ensuring the home remains clean and hazard‑free.
Errand Support:
Run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, or other essential tasks that help clients remain independent.
Companionship & Engagement:
Provide emotional support, conversation, and encouragement to promote a positive daily routine.
Documentation:
Use our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to accurately record care provided, observations, and any changes in client condition.
Communication:
Report updates or concerns promptly to supervisors to ensure continuity of care and client safety. Qualifications & Skills GED or High School Diploma (required) Clean background check (required) Valid driver's license (required) Current TB test (required) Experience assisting individuals with disabilities, developmental challenges, or age‑related needs Strong caregiving skills and a compassionate, patient approach Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and care teams Ability to use EMR systems and maintain accurate documentation Dependability, professionalism, and a commitment to client safety and respect Why This Role Is a Great Fit This position is ideal for individuals who are caring, attentive, and motivated by helping others live comfortably and confidently.
