Home Comfort Practice (HCP, https://homecomfortpractice.com) is recruiting energy audit technicians for its Home Energy Solutions (HES) practice. Our practice provides HES and HES-IE Core Services for customers of United Illuminating and Eversource statewide. Compensation combines base pay and performance incentives. In 2024, audit crew chiefs earned an average of $34.75/hr, while audit technicians averaged $25.90/hr. The energy audit technician position is entry level with on the job training. HCP will support career development by sponsoring ongoing training, BPI certifications, and EPA Lead RRP certifications. After 2,000 hours (one year) and required certifications, an audit technician is eligible for promotion to crew chief.
