Job Description

Job Overview Join our compassionate team as a Home Health Aide, providing vital support to individuals in their homes to promote independence, comfort, and well-being. This rewarding role offers consistent hours from 9 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday, with weekly pay. As a Home Health Aide, you will deliver personalized care that enhances quality of life for clients with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized memory or hospice care. Your dedication will make a meaningful difference every day! Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and observe patients' conditions, recording vital signs and reporting any changes promptly Administer medications following prescribed instructions while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary requirements are met Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment in accordance with home & community care standards Use Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to document care activities accurately and efficiently Experience Prior experience in home health care or long-term care settings is highly preferred Familiarity with medical terminology, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring is essential Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia (including Alzheimer's and memory care), or hospice needs is advantageous Knowledge of assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and catheter care techniques is desirable Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with seniors or individuals requiring specialized care such as hospice or dementia support Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications in medical documentation or HIPAA compliance are a plus Proven ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of patient observation and safety Embark on a fulfilling career where your caregiving skills directly improve lives!
