Home Health Aide (HHA) Espanol The Lakes Home Care - 1.3 Sunrise, FL Job Details Per diem 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications CPR Certification BLS Certification Full Job Description The Lakes Home Care is looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients homes in accordance with an established care plan.

Responsibilities :

Responsible for assisting patients with and per plan of care, the following: Baths, Oral hygiene, Dressing and undressing, Toileting activities, feeding, etc. Taking and recording oral, rectal and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration and blood pressure when ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency) Safe transfer and ambulation techniques Exercise according to the plan of care Performing range of motion and other simple procedures as an extensional therapy service as ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency) Patient's laundry Meeting safety needs of patients and using equipment safely and properly (foot stools, side rails, etc.) Observation and teaching of home safety practices Recognition of an emergency situation and knowledge of emergency management procedures Must follow patients' plan of care and complete all tasks assigned Communicates in a constant, clear, and effective way with the client, family/caregiver and office Observes and documents patient condition and reports any changes, to the assigned nurse supervisor

Requirements :

Meets all training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws when applicable Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care given Possess and maintains current CPR certification in accordance with state regulation PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Successful completion of Maxim screening examinations Participation and completion of Maxim's competency program Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements The Lakes benefits : part-time position.
