Job Description

Job Overview Female Home helper sought for eco-friendly household Eco-friendly home helper wanted for older woman in the Northampton MA area. The helper is responsible for a range of activities, including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping floors, washing dishes, cleaning counters, cleaning bathroom, changing the bed and trash removal, meal prep, laundry and errands. Possible help with gardening. Helper must not use any scented products on clothes or body on day of service, including scented laundry products and deodorant, due to sensitivities. Cat is in household.
The ideal candidate:
Calm, conscientious and an excellent communicator with a sense of humor. Arrive on time Have reliable transportation. Follow directions and read/follow recipes. Accept and adapt to feedback. Be trustworthy and mindful of privacy. 3½ - 4 hrs a week, $19/hr. paid by Highland Valley Elder Services via Tempus. 3 references required, 10 months minimum commitment Contact Johanna at johannaruth@hushmail.com, 413 586-9485 Experience Prior experience in private homes doing housecleaning and cooking Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and maintaining confidentiality in healthcare settings.
