Homemaker/Chore Direct Service Workers & Personal Care Attendants

• Responsibilities May Include:

• Homemaker/Chore Direct Service Workers
• Heavy Household Activities- washing floors, windows, and walls; tacking down loose rugs and tiles; moving heavy items of furniture in order to provide safe access and egress; ice, snow, and/or leaf removal; and yard maintenance.
• Housekeeping (laundry, vacuuming, dusting, dishes)
• Meal preparation and planning
• Shopping/errands as needed
• Assisting participants in maintaining a clean and safe home environment
• Personal Care Attendants
• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Mobility assistance and transfers
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and emotional support
• Observing and reporting participants needs or concerns
• Prepare and serve meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including regular housekeeping tasks

• Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED preferred (not required)
• Previous caregiving experience a plus, but
• will train the right candidates
• Ability to pass background checks and required clearances (per PA state regulations)
• Reliable transportation to and from client homes
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality

Job Types:
