Homeschool Tutor - 4th-5th Grade (Part-Time)

Location:

404 East State Road 434, Winter Springs, FL 32708

Schedule:

Mon-Fri, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. | 24 hrs/week

Pay:

$20-$22/hr We are seeking a dedicated Homeschool Tutor for a one-on-one learning environment with a student working at the 4th-5th grade level. The tutor must be comfortable using the Florida homeschool curriculum standards and designing lessons directly based on those standards to guide academic progress. The ideal candidate will support reading comprehension, writing, critical thinking, and hands-on STEAM learning while maintaining structure, documentation, and consistent communication with parents.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement lesson plans based on Florida homeschool curriculum standards for 4th and 5th grade Provide individualized, one-on-one instruction tailored to the student's learning pace Monitor academic progress and communicate updates to parents Maintain an organized academic portfolio in compliance with Florida homeschool requirements Strengthen reading comprehension, writing, and critical-thinking skills Lead hands-on STEAM projects, including: S — Science T — Technology E — Engineering A — Arts M —

Mathematics Qualifications:

Experience working with 4th-5th grade students Strong reading and writing instruction skills Knowledge of Florida homeschool standards and requirements Ability to read and write in both English and Spanish Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable Available for on-site instruction Must live locally in Winter Springs, FL (relocation not required)
