Horse Caretaker / Rider

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Horse Caretaker / Rider to join our dynamic equine team. This vital role combines hands-on horse care with riding responsibilities, ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our horses while supporting the daily operations of our farm. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, strong animal handling skills, and a keen interest in equine management. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with horses. Duties Provide daily care for horses, including feeding, grooming, and administering basic health treatments Assist with training sessions, and exercise routines for horses. Monitor horse behavior and health, reporting any concerns or injuries promptly Maintain clean and safe stables, paddocks, and riding arenas through regular cleaning and upkeep Skills Extensive equine experience with strong animal handling and husbandry skills Supervising experience in a farm or stable environment is highly desirable Knowledge of farming practices, management, and growing techniques Familiarity with animal husbandry principles Basic math skills for record keeping, measurements, and calculations related to feed rations or medication dosages Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor work in varying weather conditions This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in horse care.
